WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

It can be a daunting task to visit any church or any place new for that matter, and brings up certain questions. We want you to know right up front that at Lubbock Baptist Temple you will not be considered a visitor but a guest. You are a guest because we have planned for you to be here. We have prayed for you to be here. And most of all, God has purposed for you to be here. God wants to speak to you and touch your life; we are thankful He has chosen us as his tool.

At Lubbock Baptist Temple, we will make sure the first face you see has a smile on it. You will find a greeter that will help point you in the direction you need to go, whether that be the nursery for your children or the kitchen where you will find hot coffee and douhnuts.

You will hear practical messages from God's Word that will help you in your every day life. You will find real people that have the same problems, hopes, dreams, bills, and issues of life as you. It is a great group of people to "do life with."

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We are more concerned with meeting the needs of your life than with what you have on. We believe in honoring God with how we dress, but at Lubbock Baptist Temple, you will find people wearing what they feel comfortable in to church, whether that be a suit or shorts!

WHAT DOES LUBBOCK BAPTIST TEMPLE HAVE FOR MY KIDS?

We know that as a parent you need be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn. We’ve invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached. We are a church family that cares for your family!

If it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church, LBT has you in mind! There’s already enough you have to think about when you’re visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of this “stuff” out of the way not only encourages you to join us for church, but also helps you to connect with the hope that God has for you.
